We LOVE our New Years Wedding's and what better way to celebrate and start off the new year than with an epic celebration! This wedding was so fun (and much needed) being in the midst of a pandemic. It was also extra special for us to have two of our other beautiful brides there in Lauren's wedding party! Lauren looked stunning in her Berta gown and happy tears flowed throughout the day.

Andy and Lauren’s love story started in 2019, when they matched on a dating app #Hinge. But their journey started long before in Calabasas, where their families lived five minutes away from one another. They both attended AE Wright Middle School and Calabasas High School. Andy was one year ahead of Lauren, which explains why they did not meet, despite having several of the same classes and teachers. For college, they both attended the University of California at Berkeley. GO BEARS! They were in the same freshman dorm complex and later lived blocks away from each other on Greek Row. They had dozens of mutual friends but again, never crossed paths! After college, they both moved back to Los Angeles, yet despite all of these similarities, it took 2 right swipes to bring them together. After matching on the dating app Hinge, Andy immediately asked for Lauren’s number and picked up the phone to call her. Lauren was impressed by this gentlemanly gesture (guys, take a lesson) and they scheduled a date at a rooftop bar in West Hollywood. The first couple months flew by. Andy took Lauren on some amazing dates (including a private bowling lane at the Roosevelt Hotel), and even a weekend trip to Berkeley and San Francisco. Lauren brought Andy to her family’s Jewish high-holiday celebrations. Five months after their first date, Lauren spent Christmas with Andy’s family on a 42-foot catamaran in the Virgin Islands. After a week of living in close quarters and visiting tropical islands, they realized they were each other's best catch. Their mutual love for traveling the world, fine dining, and binging TV shows made them quickly realize how right they were for each other. And their relationship only got stronger during the pandemic. On March 28th, 2021 just before sunset, Andy proposed on the beach in Malibu in front of dozens of beachgoers. Through smiles and tears, Lauren said YES and with one kiss, their lives were forever changed.
